OUR FAVOURITE CELEBRATIONS

MY FAVOURITE CELEBRATION...

•  is Christmas because it is Jesus's birthday and we have fun.  -Spencer
•  is the Lantern Festival because there are dragon statues and tiger statues with lanterns everywhere. There are lights inside the statues.  -Rayner 
• is my birthday because I get to blow out the candles.  -Anthony 
•  is Halloween because you stay up at night and you get to have lots of candy. -Jorjia
•  is Valentine's Day because I can make a card.   -Maggie

OUR MULTICULTURAL CLASSROOM

Through our study, 'A Cycle of Celebrations', we are learning about the make up of cultures in New Zealand and how this has changed over time.
