Shore to Shore Fun Run

Listen to Daniel reading his recount about the Fun Run.

Liam's book choice.

I chose "Rodeo Ron and his milkshake cows".
I chose it because I thought it would tell me about something very interesting.
I like cowboys and you can see from my photo that this book has a cowboy on it.
I liked reading this book. When I read it it told me about cavities in teeth.

Gabriella's Book.

When it was library day I chose "But excuse me That is my book".
I chose that book because my Mum likes that book so I picked that book.
When I got home my Mum said "What did you pick today?"
"I picked ... your favourite!" I read "But excuse me that is my book" to my Mum even at bedtime.
I want to read more books by Lauren Child.

Maggie reads about a Thingamajig.

I took home a story called "The Very Blue Thingamajig" because I thought that it may be very interesting. There were different types of Thingamajigs in the story.
Later on in the story the Blue Thingamajig met a Pink Thingamajig and they both became friends.
It is a good book for math because there are numbers that are good for counting.

Esuru reads about Moon Dog.

I took home Moon Dog because I was wondering how the moon is to be on it and if there was a real dog on the moon.
There were some unusual things on that moon, like fairies, a house, and a man. The man didn't like the fairies. My favourite part was when the Dog ate Mooncakes.
I think children should pick this book to read because it's a funny book.
